AGARTALA, May 3 (TIWN): Amid Chief Minister’s claim about ‘no petrol, diesel shortage will be felt in Tripura' after the inauguration of petrol tank wagons, the crisis has been continued to here and there, fueled by the allegation of black marketing of petrol.
Today almost all the petrol pumps left dry and hanged with ‘No Petrol’ sign following one day holiday on 1st May at Agartala,
Resentments have brewed among the customers standing in front of the biggest petrol pump of the city at Ganaraj Chowmuhani.
That’s how the waste of common people’s valuable time is under continuation.
On March 29, on the occasion of fuel-carrying cargo’s inauguration at Dharmanagar Rail Station Biplab Deb said, "People in Tripura have suffered a lot due to petrol crisis. Public here are habituated by standing in long queues before petrol pumps. In past days we have experienced what's called acute petrol crisis, but I am inaugurating the Petrol Tank Wagon at Dharmanagar today, which will end the petrol crisis as well as stop the black marketing of fuel".
