‘No GST on medicine’, says Union

AGARTALA, May 1 (TIWN): Protesting against the GST imposed upon medicine, Professional Sales Representative Union have come in a protest today at Agartala on the occasion of May Day.
Professional Sales Representative Union (PSRU) of state Tripura requested the Central government to withdraw Goods Services Tax (GST) on medicines.
Speaking to media persons here on Tuesday, the agitators requested the government not to treat medicines as normal business commodity.
Besides, they also requested the government to stop harassing the medical representatives which they often face during MR visits.
