AGARTALA, April 24 (TIWN): Tripura Congress leader Gopal Roy hit Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb accusing him for not studying properly in school days after his Internet-Existing-Mahabharata’s era theory became a controversy.

“He neither studied History, nor Geography. Infact no subject he studied properly I think. When a person speaks something, s/he should have basic knowledge on it”, Gopal Roy said. 

“His claim about internet is not only foolish but also surprising. Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi has hit the foolish statement of Tripura CM and his blabbering through national media”, Gopal Roy told TIWN.

The issue was raised, after Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb said "Not US and other Western Countries, but the internet was invented by India before lakhs of years and via internet Sanjay in Mahabharata was narrating Kurukshetra war to the blind king Dhritarashtra".
