AMARPUR, April 21 (TIWN): One newborn baby's dead body has been recovered from a drain at Amarpur on Saturday.

The incident took place at Amarpur 1-No Shankar Palli area. The newborn baby was left in the drain at there. 

In the morning the infant was seen by a local in pathetic condition and then they recovered it. Immediately, the locals informed police, but already the infant was dead.

This incident has generated mass resentment among the local people at there. Police is trying to findout the parents of the baby.  It was a baby-girl.
