At latenight, when the celebration of day long Bengali New Year was just ended, the fire incident created chaos at Hawkers area.

The fire had sparked from short circuit in the electric poles at Sakuntala market. One shop was lightly burnt in the incident.

Identifying the fire, immediately fire brigade was called by public. Fire brigade rushed to the spot and controlled the fire within 15 minutes.

On the night of Pohela Boishakh, such an incident triggered tension among the locals.
