AGARTALA, April 13 (TIWN): Within one month of Tripura Election result, Transport Dept has been gripped by Sangh (BJP backed union).

Even though like stage-show, Transport Minister Pranajit Singha Roy held a press conference warning the auto drivers but he took no attempt to order auto drivers to keep charts of fares with them, point to point auto fares etc.

The transport dept after 1 month has totally failed to develop transport service, re-launching of TRTC service etc.

Auto drivers on yesterday came in massive protest at Motostand after traffic police launched a special drive to control above 3 passengers carrying practices led by the auto drivers.

On March 16, with a strict warning to the auto driver, Tripura Transport Minister Pranajit Singha Roy said, “From today the auto drivers have to follow the High Court’s order. Whatever the fare is, it has to be received by the auto drivers without any arguments”.

But after yesterday’s road blockage Transport Dept has proven just a puppet under Sanghas.
