AGARTALA, April 2 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb today has visited Howrah river bank at Champaknagar aimed to give Howarh river a new ‘life’.
Chief Minister Biplab Deb who is scheduled to visit Delhi today will talk to the central govt regarding river Howrah project.
Right now, Tripura Govt aims to build hydroelectric dams at there. A company also will be set at Champaknagar so that power can be generated from river dams.
Apart from that special focus also will be given to increase the navigability of the river.
This dams will prevent flood as well as it will generate power.
