AGARTALA, March 30 (TIWN): Assam Rifles has organized a cricket match at Jampuijala today, received heavy response from the locals.

The  21 Assam Rifles under the aegis of 21 Sector Assam Rifles conducted a friendly Cricket match in Jampuijala on 30 march 2018 to promote spirit of sportsmanship amongst the locals and cooperation with Assam Rifles.

 The match was played between Jampuijhala's Place Centre and Ekdas team . The aim of organising the match was to nurture young sporting talent and encourage youths to participate in sports activities.

The  teams were felicitated with  cricket kit and gift hamper  followed by Band display.

Locals appreciated the efforts of Assam Rifles to connect with the people and promote culture of Sportsmanship.
