AGARTALA, March 29 (TIWN): Tripura BJP's OBC Morcha today has greeted OBC Welfare Minister Ratan Lal Nath in his residence.

However, at the same time the BJP activists have reminded the Minister about BJP's pre-poll propaganda on 'OBC reservation' and other issues, a source said.

Recently West Bengal Govt has passed bill on 17 % reservations for the OBC. Other states which have not implemented the reservation for OBC, they are also implementing laws on the reservation rights of OBC.

In this condition, Tripura OBC Morcha has demanded their rights according to central govt's reservation policy.   

Earlier, Uttar Pradesh CM Adityanath Yogi also promised in his pre-poll Tripura visit that once BJP is in power, it will introduce 'Reservation for OBC'.
