AGRATALA / DHARMANAGAR, March 29 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Thursday before inaugurating the fuel-carrying cargo at Dharmanagar Rail Station said, "People in Tripura have suffered a lot due to petrol crisis. Public here are habituated by standing in long queues before petrol pumps. In past days we have experienced what's called acute petrol crisis, but I am inaugurating the Petrol Tank Wagon at Dharmanagar today, which will end the petrol crisis as well as stop the black marketing of fuel". Chief Minister has announced this in Agartala before he left for Dharmanagar to attend Petrol Tank Wagon's launching programme. CM talked to media regarding the wagon's inauguration, when he was attending Mahavir Jayanti puja at Agartala. After the puja, CM left directly for Dharmanagar.
The Wagon arrived in Tripura on Tuesday and its official inauguration is today.
Excitements were observed among the locals of Dharmanagar centering the inauguration programme since 3 days. A huge numbers of locals have gathered at Dharmanagr Railway station to take glimpse of the wagon.
A grand ceremonial programme has also been organized for the flag off ceremony. Apart from CM, Minister N C Debbarma, MLA Biswabandhu Sen, BJP Yuva Morcha Chief Tinku Roy and NFR Officials were also present at Dharmanagar Railway Station during inauguration of the wagon.
