AGARTALA, March 28 (TIWN): Forest Dept Officials have conducted a special raid to nab illegally stored wood stocks in a black-mill.
The raid was conducted at Kebal Chowmuhani area, near Ramkrishna Mission where one black mill owner was doing illegal business since long time.
However seeing the forest dept officials at there, the blacker escaped from the spot.
However the Forest Dept officials have recovered one wood-cutting machine, 1 generator, 2 vehicles and also around 40 pieces of woods.
The worth of the seized items will be at least Rs. 2 lakhs.
