AGARTALA, March 26 (TIWN): The delaying 7th Pay commission at Manipur was raised in Tripura Assembly Day-2.
While addressing the Assembly, CPI-M MLA Badal Choudhury said, “Before the election employees in Tripura were counting, what will be their salaries after BJP makes its govt here. Few were expecting 30,000 of hikes and thus 7th pay commission’s delaying can’t be taken easily”.
“Today at Manipur employees are in strike for 7th pay commission”, Choudhury added.
Finance Minister Jishnu Debbarma in reply said, “Manipur BJP never promised about 7th pay commission before election”.
Badal Choudhry told the Finance Minister, “Why are you becoming angry ? 65 % employees vote banks are with you”.
