AGARTALA, March 26 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb today in the Assembly said that Agartala City to be converted into a smart city soon.
“The work on smart city to be started within one week”, the Chief Minister said.
Recently with central govt also the discussion on the smart city was also held during CM and Deputy CM's Delhi visit.
Earlier the Chief Minister said that the water-logging problem to be ended soon and it can not continue in the next monsoon.
It was said that within 15-20 days Municipal Corporation will complete the first level of work on it. Biplab Deb also said the mosquito problems will also be ended as no garbage will be allowed to overflow from dustbins and drains.
CM also promised to use modern techniques in coming days to end the dirtiness across the towns.
