AGARTALA, March 26 (TIWN): Amid bundles of demands have been placed before the BJP Govt, along with lists of BJP's pre-poll promises are hovering over the new administration, Tripura Finance Minister Jishnu Debbarma said, "Our govt is not negative, rather it's a positive govt. Whatever we will do, it will be transparent". "What previous govt has done, it's not our fault. Time to time, we will announce the decisions via press releases", he said. "But I can't speak such things, which can't be officially announced. Keep faith on our transparency, we will fulfill all promises", he said. Recently in few interactions with media Jishnu Debbarma repeatedly said, "The Left Govt was expending at its own wish without any balance maintenance.
The economy is mostly suffering due to non-plan expenditures". However the Govt has found 3 ways to shape the economy which are : 1) Balanced Expenditure, 2) Revenue Generation, 3 ) Asking Central Govt for help etc.
“The previous Govt has given us nothing, rather it has burdened the 38 lakhs people under debts but BJP Govt will never give up. Even though they left hills of works upon us, but we will fulfill all promised works", said Debbarma.
"The previous did just nothing ! From roadway to education system, all left in paralyzed shape. However, it’s our good-luck that due to them we are getting the opportunity to work for the public and shape Tripura as a model state”.
“In the name of Infrastructures the previous Govt created just structures, hollow buildings instead of road constructions”. “The huge buildings have nothing inside them, we have to build up the infrastructure there. From roadway to Health service all left in pathetic shape. But we have to fulfill our mission and for that we need everyone’s cooperation and Govt employees have to take a lead role in that", he added.
