AGARTALA, March 25 (TIWN): Much famous Agartala Book Fair which will be continued for 12 days from this year, will begin from 2nd April.

Preparation for the 12 day long book fair’s inauguration on peak at there.

On March 17, Chief Minister Biplab Deb in a meeting with his Ministers, MLAs and other high officials of Education, AMC depts had decided that.

The date yet to be finalized but approximately April 2nd will be the inauguration day of the book fair.

Agartala book-fair is widely known and always are being participated by huge numbers of foreign businessmen.

 The first Agartala Book Fair held was held in 1981 and since then the scenario of publishing started to change very rapidly.

Along with the common people, various schools, colleges, institutes, libraries and academic centers also collected books in bulk from the fair.
