AGARTALA, March 21 (TIWN): Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has allowed Rs. 350 crore to meet the committed liabilities of erswhile Special Plan Assistance (SPA), recommended by NITI Aayog.

After returning from Delhi, Chief Minister Biplab Deb and Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarma have announced it today. 

"During the visit, we have met many central ministers as well as Prime Minister and President of India. All have given very positive signs for all kinds of helps from centre for the shake of Tripura's development", CM said.

"Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has assured all possible financial assistance to the state of Tripura including funds for SPA", CM told media.
