SONAMURA / AGARTALA, March 21 (TIWN): With a tragic note, one Class-2 student was killed in a road mishap today after she was hit by two reckless bike riders at Sonamura.

The deceased Mariam Aktar (Sania) was going to her school Netaji Shiksha Niketan.

The incident took place at Dhanpur hospital area when she was near to her school.

Like everyday she reached her school via auto and while crossing the road she was hit by the bikers and died on spot.

The bike riders have been interrogated by police named : 1) Ali Hossain (20), S/O-Kholoil Mia, resident of Udaipur Palatana,  2) Iqbal Hossain (16), S/O-Alkaj Mia.

License, hamlet nothing was with the drivers.

Mariam Aktar was resident of Tarapukur in Sonamura. Sorrows, tension and resentment have gripped the villagers.
