AMPI, March 17 (TIWN): Last night at about 12 am a big blazing bang has created a terrific situation among the people of Ampi nagar. People were rushing here and there to find out the reason of the blazing bang. In the meantime the fire service siren made the area more serious.
Side by side situated two grocery shops just beneath the Ampi block turned into ashes at about 12 am last night. Being informed the fire service authority rushed to the spot but before they reached two grocery shops totally burnt.
Reportedly total loss of the incident is about one lakh rupees. Firoj Miah and Ahit Buiya the owners of these shops said, " We could not save any thing because before coming of us shops were almost burnt." More shops would burn if the fire service would not come quickly, said locals.
Refrigerator, cycle, gas cilinder, furnitures, grocery article and many other things have been totally consumed by furious fire. In this facts an FIR has been submitted in Ampi PS today by the shopkeepers. Somehow these two old shopkeepers used to run their families but all have been ruined. Local people expressed too much grievance for these two poor shopkeepers.
Till now it has been not detected how fire has been set. Nobody is arrested yet with the connection of this incident. Police is investigating the case. Date 16.03.18
