AGARTALA, March 10 (TIWN): After the first cabinet meeting, 7th Pay commission for state govt employees has been declared by the newly formed BJP Govt in Tripura.
However, before the allocation of 7th pay commission, a committee will be formed soon which will discuss the necessary issues related to the implementation.
This was the first cabinet meeting of the state BJP Govt after Biplab Deb took charge as the CM of Tripura.
The Chief Minister himself addressed the press after the cabinet meeting.
CM Biplab Deb has also announced to convert Agartala Airport's name as Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Bahadur Airport, in honour of his huge contributions to Tripura.
"The Agartala Airport itself was a creation of our king, which paved the way for ease communication on that time", said Deb.
At the same time it was said that MLA Ratan Chakraborty will be appointed as the speaker of Tripura Assembly. The next Assembly session to begin on March 23.
