AGARTALA, August 26 (TIWN): Chief Minister Manik Sarkar today had to hospitalized in Agartala Govt Medical College & G B P Hospital as he felt severe pain from from Spondylitis when he was in his chamber this evening. It is learnt that Chief Minister was in his office at around 5.40 pm but soon he felt pain. Within a few minutes his physical condition became worse and at once he was admitted in G B P Hospital.

    A group of doctors led by Dr Pradip Bhowmik examined Manik Sarkar for almost one and half hours. However, after the initial treatment of the doctors, Manik Sarkar felt somewhat relieved. And then at around 8.30pm Chief Minister was released from the hospital. Now he is in his official residence. But he will be under observation for 48 hours, said TIWN sources.
