Patna, Dec 5 (TIWN) Five passengers, who came from Omicron affected countries of Africa, were detected Covid positive in Bihar's Gopalganj district on Sunday, and their samples have been sent for genome testing.
According to the Meteorological centre, Bangalore, the city may receive light spell of rain today with cloudy skies. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to settle around 27 and 19 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Shivamogga Deputy Commissioner KB Sivakumar was quoted by ANI as saying that twenty-nine students have been found Covid-19 positive at a private nursing school. He informed that all the students are asymptomatic. "We are doing random sampling at many places and found out that few students, who came from different states at a private nursing school, contracted COVID. We have sealed the hostel premises," Sivakumar told ANI.
