Heavy rainfall in Northeast, Bengal, Bihar to continue: IMD

New Delhi, Aug 13 (TIWN) The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday predicted an intense spell of rain over Northeast India and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Bihar is likely to continue till August 15.
On the other hand, the death toll has climbed to 15 in the landslide that took place on Wednesday afternoon in Himachal Pradesh's Kinnaur district. The search and rescue operation is underway. Earlier, it was stopped due to shooting stones from uphill. So far, 13 people have been safely rescued from the site and sent for medical treatment.
