Lucknow, May 28 (TIWN) The Uttar Pradesh government has given permission for starting online classes for Madrasa students. This will benefit around 18 lakh students enrolled in these madrasas.
"Till the time madrasas can't begin imparting education physically, a proposal for restarting online classes has been approved. Cases in the state are on a ready decline and the pandemic has hit education hard. Online classes will make up for the loss in syllabus and will begin with immediate effect," said cabinet minister Nand Gopal Nandi. Board registrar RP Singh told TOI that the proposal was sent forth after UP board was allowed to take online classes for its students from May 20 onward.
