AGARTALA, May 21 (TIWN): Suprib Tripura, accused of the murder of two siblings in the Gabtali area under Bilonia Rajnagar PR Bari police station, remanded in jail till June 3, 2021 by Bilonia Sessions and District Court on Friday.

After taking the case on May 14 under Section 302/201 of the Indian Penal Code the court judge remanded Suprib in custody for 5-days till May 21 based on Subrib’s confession before the camera.

 The accused confessed before the police that he went to rescue his sister after seeing the siblings doing bad deeds with her. Suprib first strangled the boy Hridoy (13 years) by wrapping a towel around his neck and then suffocated his sister, Rita (11 years), and threw them in a forest pond.

 On May 14, PR bari police held the accused suspiciously.
