Trimmed guest list for Rashtrapati Bhavan 'At Home' event on I-Day

New Delhi, Aug 14 (TIWN) Select cabinet ministers, dignitaries from the judiciary, bureaucrats, diplomats and handpicked media personnel numbering less than 100 have been invited to attend the Rashtrapati Bhavan 'At Home' ceremony on Independence Day evening on Saturday.
According to the norms, the entire council of ministers, MPs, senior fejudges, secretaries and top officials to the central government, distinguished civilians, freedom fighters, national awardees and media persons are invited for the event. But, this year on August 15 only a select group of ministers - most probably the seniormost, top government functionaries and officials will be invited. The guest list has been trimmed to keep the number to the minimum.
