Kolkata, Oct 1 (TIWN) In a major jolt to the CBI, the Calcutta High Court on Tuesday granted anticipatory bail to senior IPS officer Rajeev Kumar in the Saradha ponzi scam case.

Calcutta High Court has asked Rajeev Kumar to cooperate with CBI. The court granted his anticipatory bail and put a condition that Kumar will have to cooperate with CBI and appear when called.

HC grants bail over Rs 50k bail bond.

The court also asked the probe agency to give a 48-hour notice to Kumar whenever they want to question him.
