KOLKATA, Oct 31 (TOI): The brother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Prahalad Modi, has rendered his support to All India Trinamool Congress (AITMC) in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

Prahlad who is the President of the Fair Price Shop Owners Federation has extended Federation's support for AITMC for the Lok Sabha polls scheduled for the next year.

The announcement came during a meeting held at the Rabindra Bhawan at Dumdum organised to discuss the Khadya Sathee Scheme of the West Bengal government.

State minister for food Jyotipriyo Mallick and the MP of Dumdum Sougata Roy were also present at the meeting.
