Kiev, March 14 : Ukraine's agricultural export is expected to remain at over $20 billion this year amid Russia's ongoing war against Kiev, a government official said.
"After the agreements were signed, we have a balance of 10bn dollars worth of grain. It is true. This is a huge amount," he said.
He predicts that another 20bn dollars worth of grain will need to be exported by the end of this year. This money is needed for much of the country to continue to function.
"First and foremost is the agricultural industry. And not just farmers, but the whole rural area," the minister pointed out.
Solskyy warned that the only factor that could cause a possible food shortage within Ukraine could be a lack of money for the next sowing campaign.
