Foreigners staying in S.Korea rebound to over 2mn

Seoul, June 23 (TIWN) The number of foreigners staying in South Korea bounced back above the 2 million mark last month for the first time in 15 months, immigration data revealed on Thursday.
According to the data by the Justice Ministry's immigration policy bureau, 2,012,862 foreigners were staying in the country as of May, the first figure over the 2 million threshold since February last year, reports Yonhap News Agency. The May number marks a 1.3 per cent rise, or 25,612, from the previous month.
