Uzbekistan cancels mandatory Covid rapid test for arrivals

Tashkent, Jan 26 (TIWN) Uzbekistan on Tuesday decided to cancel the mandatory Covid-19 rapid test for all visitors upon arrival, according to the Health Ministry.
Earlier this month, Uzbekistan was tightening pandemic restrictions as the primary case of the Omicron variant was confirmed within the nation, Xinhua news company. Starting from January 15, all guests to Uzbekistan have been required to go a rapid test at airports, prepare stations and border checkpoints despite their PCR test outcomes.
