Mexico City, Nov 28 (TIWN) At least 19 people were killed and around 25 others injured after their bus crashed into a house in central Mexico due to a brake malfunction, a local official said.
The bus’s brakes failed in the town of Joquicingo, and the front of the bus was entirely shredded, videos from Mexico newspaper Mileno showed. The passengers were on a religious journey from Michoacan to the Sanctuary of Chalma, the second-most important pilgrimage site in Mexico. They were about 45 minutes from their destination when the crash happened.
