No plans to recognise Taliban as Afghan legitimate govt: Trudeau

Ottawa, Aug 18 (TIWN) Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has said his government has no plans to recognise the Taliban as the legitimate government of Afghanistan.
"Canada has no plans to recognise the Taliban as the government of Afghanistan. When they were in government 20 years ago, Canada did not recognise them," said Trudeau, Xinhua reported.
