Tokyo, June 16 (TIWN) Japan's parliamentary session closed on Wednesday after a no-confidence motion in Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga's Cabinet filed by the opposition camp was voted down in the Lower House on the previous day.
The motion was filed after the ruling coalition turned down the opposition camp's request for pushing back the end of the current parliamentary session by three months to allow for more debate on matters related to Covid-19 and the Tokyo Olympics, Xinhua reported.
