New York, Aug 20 (TIWN) The total number of Covid-19 cases in the US surpassed 5.5 million on Wednesday, according to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University.

Till now, as many as 5,507,556 people in the US have tested COVID-19 positive and 172,511 deaths have been reported.  Followed by the US, Brazil has recorded 3,407,354 cases of coronavirus and 109,888 deaths so far.
