TIWN Dec 28, 2019
AGARTALA, Dec 28 (TIWN): Two recent horrifying incidents of BJP’s attack on CPI(M) rallies on 18th Dec 2019 and 24th Dec 2019 , and their repercussions, again revealed the mal law and order situation prevailing in the state Tripura.
Centering the slogan “ Cholo Paltai”, the people of Tripura thought the BJP govt. would bring good fortune with them as said in the VISION DOCUMENT. But after coming into power, fulfilling the promises is merely a day dream. Rather the state is undergoing severe crisis in every sphere, instead of wealth and prosperity.
In these 20 months “Biplab and Company “did nothing except destruction. Where Tripura CM is busy meandering around the housed for his Sunday lunch, his in-arm companion Leaders and party workers are busy attacking opposition party rallies ,though this type of incidents are nothing new in Tripura. After coming into power, the BJP-IPFT ally Govt. burnt many houses, party offices, destroyed shops and cars of the opposition CPIM now and then. Sometimes these attacks were witnessed in Dharmanagar, mohanpur, Kanchanpur, Gandachara, or Agartala. Within past few days this type of inhuman incident could be noticed at Belonia and Tuesday it could be witnessed at Udaipur , where Opposition party CPIM organised a rally after having proper permission from the Administration.
The communist party of India(Marxist), Belonia sub[division took out a protest demonstration rally on 18th Dec 2019, at Belonia town, against NRC and CAA with proper permission from the concerned authorities. But the BJP miscreants attacked all of a sudden, that led to injuriesz to many CPI(M) supporters who took part in the demonstration along with police personnel including a womnen police officer. But surprisingly the concerned police authorities lodged a complaint and arrested those who were attacked and sustained injuries instead of taking action against the B JP miscreants.
Similarly, The communist party of India(Marxist), Udaipur sub-division took out a protest demonstration on 24th Dec 2019, at Udaipur town against the detrimental policy of privatisation of Public Sectroirs(PUS’s). Soon the rally progressed from Jamtala to Central Road, along with the increasing number of people joining the Rally, BJP activists started attacking with long bamboo sticks and pelting stones. In this attack, Ex- Minister Ratan Bhowmik has been severely injured along with MLA Madhab saha and several other party workers. Security guard of Ex-Minister Ratan Bhowmik also has been severely injured.
Attack did not stop there, but continued day and night around Udaipur and also Belonia, including vandalizatiopn of party offices at different localities and attack on CPI(M) Party workers houses.
Here the question arises, whether the State’s prime Opposition party CPIM, doesn’t has the right to organise a rally or gathering with proper permission in the “DIAMOND ERA”? When the attack and stone pelting took in front of the Police, why after so many hours of the incident none of the miscreants has been arrested till now? So, can it be told that this incident was pre-planned? When opposition CPIM was in power, did they conduct any such with BJP workers at their rallies?
Detractors have an opinion saying finding answers to these questions is not possible, as the Administration itself is directly related to crimes. Lawless situations and biased Administration is the actual face of the JUMLA Govt. run by accidental CM Biplab Deb.
