Washington, Sep 30 (TIWN) A man was shot dead by police in the US state of Maryland after he stabbed five people, authorities said.

A man was shot dead by police in the US state of Maryland after he stabbed five people, according to authorities on Sunday.  During a press briefing, Baltimore County police spokesperson Jen Peach said that a man threatened people and demanded money at a liquor store at the Hunt Valley Towne Centre in Cockeysville, near Towson, accoding to reports.  The man stabbed four people in the liquor store, then fled and stabbed another person in front of a Noodles and Company restaurant, Peach further said.
