2 killed in Armenian military aircraft crash

Yerevan, Dec 4 (TIWN / IANS) Two pilots were killed in an Armenian military aircraft crash in the mountains in the northwestern area of the transcaucasian state, officials said.
The SU-25 jet crashed near the town of Maralik and both the two pilots aboard were killed, Defence Ministry spokesperson Artsrun Hovhannisyan was cited as saying by Xinhua news agency.
The Ministry said the aircraft disappeared from radar some 15 minutes after taking off from the Gyumri airport on a training flight.
The cause of the crash was being investigated.
