AGARTALA, Jan 2 (TIWN): SUCI begins signature campaigning to increase more numbers of trains in Tripura. At Agartala Railway Station, SUCI members took signatures from passengers to strengthen their demands.

Their demands were :

1. To keep the trains bogies clean, to arrange enough amount water, to repair all damaged lights and other mechinary items.

2. To start Agartala-Guwahati Express trains everyday,

3. Agartala-Kanchenjunga Express service to be extended for 4 days. For Agartala-Vellore weekly one train must be served,

4. To confirm the security,

5. To organize Pantry cars at Tripura Sundari & Kanchenjunga express trains,

6. To increase the numbers of stations at Agartala, Yogendranagar, Dharmanagar railway stations.

7. To increase local trains numbers by launching demo-engines.
