AGARTALA, Jan 2 (TIWN): Tripura Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty on Tuesday has inaugurated annual cultural programme and prize distribution programme of Sri Krishna Mission School.

While addressing, the Education Ministers talked on the values of education which is even out of syllabus.

This cultural progarmme is held every year annually, many times have been attended by Chief Minister and Governor.

"Don't gather only bookish knowledge but gain knowledge in every fields practically", Tapan Chakraborty said.

Sri Krishna Mission School a non-government organization was founded by His Holiness B.S.Damodara Swami an eminent world Scientist, in 1991 to inculcate man making education based on spiritual and moral values.

The school has been under state Board for 9 years and achieved cent percent success in the Board examination. In the year 2005, the school has been affiliated to C.B.S.E and in the very first year of C.B.S.E. Board exam, also it has shown cent percent success.

At present, the school has been upgraded to senior secondary stage with Science and Arts stream having well equipped with Physics, Biology, Chemistry and Maths labs. The school is located about at Kunjaban, Near Bholananda Ashram towards Agartala Airport, which is a unique area with lots of greenery and away from the din and bustle of the city, an ideal environment for the balanced growth and development of children which offers English medium education from Classes Nursery to XII std.
