AGARTALA, Dec 27 (TIWN): The Battala businessmen are now totally frustrated, devastated in business after suddenly they knew that the flyover's ending will not be given by pillars but walls, which will make the roads narrow at Battala, down the business as there will be a permanent boundary among both side's businessmen due the wall of the flyover. The local businessmen alleged, 'Earlier it was said that there will be pillars to hold the flyover and like Bordowali's landing point this area also will be given enough space".

"But since few days the road at there was closed and the workers are preparing walls to give the finishing touches to the flyover", they added.

At Bordowali area, there are pillars and the landing point would not disrupt the business at there but suddenly the wall system instead of pillar has been termed by Battala businessmen not only rarest in whole India. "

"The whole area will be blocked by both sides with walls of flyover, which was not expected. This is totally an unscientific construction", said the businessmen at there.

"This side's businessmen, customer will not be able to go to that side nor they can come here. It will not only kill our business but also will lead accidents".

"At least 2 /3 pillars must be made like Bordowali and from 2 to 2.5 meter height the work can be closed but 24-25 meter height will also cause major accidents", said the businessmen.

It came under controversy, Tripura's CPI-M Govt.  awarded Rs 300 crores  Agartala Flyover project to Hyderabad based Nagarjuna Construction Company (NCC) which was blacklisted by Pondicherry Govt in 2012 for indulging into massive irregularities which was unearthed by the Anti-Corruption Branch of CBI in Chennai.
