AGARTALA, Dec 26 (TIWN): Religions are playing very important roles in Tripura Politics ahead of Assembly Election-2018. BJP and RSS’s supports of Hindu religion and each and every central ministers visits to Tripura Sundari temple was nothing abnormal and new, rather BJP had been always charging "secularism" as the biggest drama, but the interests of comrades for so called "Hindutva" is becoming rather ironical before it actually works out. Only Deputy Speaker Pabitra Kar and MP Jiten Chowdhury like figures have always been less under the drama of "secularism", rather in various religious programmes in their local areas they have attended. But the shocking beginning was started by Tripura Chief Minister himself when in 25 years of his strict secularism, Manik Sarkar surrendered before Hindu gathering at Astabol Stadium conducted by Anukul Thakur devotees on December 24.

Earlier, it had always been seen that Governor Tathagata Roy, Biplab Deb either Ratha Yatra or Tripura Sundari temple, they always attended Hindu programmes, whereas CPI-Ms were familiar only with Muslims but the visits at Muslim conducted programmes also were limited.

But recently after RSS Chief Mohona Bhagwat’s rally  at Astabol had shaken CPI-M Party seeing the mass-gathering and it led Manik Sarkar like figures also to become a ‘Bhakt’ !

This scenario is going on however not only in Tripura but across India and the competition among Congress and BJP is going high at Gujarat and other states, but unlike Tripura CPI-M the central level CPI-Ms yet to surrender before Gods, even though Manik Sarkar has partially surrendered.
