AMARPUR, Dec 21 (TIWN): A long pending problem of an ADC village in Jatanpur has been sorted out by the opposition BJP.

Since years, there was a demand for a bridge over Icha-chara, but even after multiple times complaining, no development had come and as a result villagers had to cross the river either through boat or walking at knee level water.

In rainy season the villagers had to swing to cross the river. Local CPI-M leaders even though promises before the election to solve the problem, but after election they forget about all promised words, alleged the villagers.

Yesterday, with the initiative of BJP  the bamboo made bridge was created for the villagers at there.

Local people are happy with the initiative taken by BJP.
