AGARTALA, Dec 19 (TIWN): Tripura BJP has been energized with the Gujarat and HP polling results and challenged Tripura CPI-M in 2018's election.
After BJP's victories over 2 more states of India, Tripura BJP led by State Observer Sunil Deodhar, State President Biplab Deb, Jishnu Dev Varma, Adv Arun Kanti Bhowmik claimed that BJP's winning at Gujarat and Himachal will bring effects in Tripura Assembly surely.
State President Biplab Deb said, "Till day Tripura Election was among the State Govt and the Opposition Parties. But like Gujarat now it will be totally neutral and solely centered among BJP and CPI-M. Proxy votes will be a forgotten era".
"CPI-M was eagerly waiting for BJP's defeat at Gujarat, but its dreams have vanished. Instead of showing developmental agendas and report cards, CPI-M is eyeing at other states", said Deb.
Both Biplab Deb and Sunil Deodhar claimed that on yesterday's rally common people joined in BJP's rally. They were showing victory signs to state BJP from shops and homes, which has boosted them further.
