AGARTALA, Dec 15 (TIWN):CPI-M Govt’s manipulated ‘made-up-fake-crisis’ to fool Supreme Court may land up Tripura Ministers in Jail in coming months. After Tapan Chakraborty's Press conference one thing is clear that Tripura Govt in order to misguide Supreme Court, State Govt counsel told SC that due to teachers-crisis the court must consider the teachers for 6 months as out of 14000 posts vacancies, Tripura Govt has gotten only 1920 teachers in the 1st round. But it was a lie as 12000 candidates are left jobless due to TET exam's cancellation which was to be conducted in August month.
Earlier, question has raised, when teachers crisis have been leading mass suffering for the state run schools, why 1200 B.Ed passed out students have left unemployed ?
Why they are not allowing to sit in TET Exam ? Now, it's all clear that just to save the 10323 teachers in SC who were not doing regular classes in last 6 months, Tripura Govt has taken this decision.
The August month's B.Ed was cancelled without any notice which as generated mass anger among the unemployed B.Ed qualified youths. The qualified teacher trained students are left yet jobless even after multiple requests were done to the Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty. While explaining 10323 teachers' recruitment corruption and 12000 non-teaching posts creations, Tripura Govt issued the teacher crisis problem, but when B.Ed qualified students are waiting jobless, state govt has no concern to fill up the vacancies. Earlier, when the youths went to meet Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty, he insulted the students and said, "When exam will be held all will be informed. What is the problem here ?"
On the other side, 10 to 15 Tripura's 10323 teachers were seen to celebrate the SC's verdict at Agartala near Melarmath Party office. The terminated teachers demanded a one year of extension of their jobs and SC has allowed the teachers with 6 months more to continue their jobs.
The teachers also held a rally yesterday evening supporting the CPI-M Govt and said, "Our trust upon CPI-M Govt is unbreakable", even though the rally was rejected by a major section of teachers and many party workers were seen in that rally.
The Supreme Court of India on Thursday has permitted Tripura's terminated 10323 teachers to continue their jobs for more 6 months but with fresh recruitment by the state govt. However, this time SC has set the dead line as 30th June, 2018 as the teachers last day for teaching job under the Govt of Tripura. On the other side, 12000 non-teaching jobs' recruitment are on hold. The 10323 teachers are happy with the acceptance of the review-petition of the terminated teachers. The 3 cases : 37795 / 2017, 377798/ 2017, 39674/ 2017 representing GT, PGT and Primary teachers. The Supreme Court earlier, on Monday deferred hearing in the case relating to 10,323 government teachers of Tripura, who are set to lose their jobs on December 31 following an apex court order but today the Court has finally permitted teachers for 6 months of temporary jobs under state govt, whereas the termination is on 31st Dec, 2017.
