AGARTALA, Dec 8 (TIWN): Umakanta Academy's students and guardians have demanded to stop outsiders' entrance inside school during school hours and to stop all sports activities by outside players in this particular field.
Yesterday in this regard the guardians met Education Minister Tapan Chakrborty. But as they couldn't give any reliable answer, so guardians again have met the Minister today.
On Dec 6, a class-ll student named Shib Sankar Debnath, S/O-Gautam Debnath was injured when a football had hit him hard. The child lost his teeth and faced heavy bleeding.'
On yesterday morning, students complained the Headmaster about it but the Headmaster didn't take the matter seriously.
Thus, following the negligence of the School Authority, Umakanta primary students along with parents had placed a deputation to Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty demanding to stop outsiders entrance inside school premise as it has become a highly risky issue. But as Tapan Chakraborty also couldn't assure the guardians, so they have come on further protest today.
