AGARTALA, Nov 8 (TIWN): When teachers crisis have been leading mass suffering for the state run schools, 1200 B.Ed passed out students have left unemployed. The August month's B.Ed was cancelled without any notice which as generated mass anger among the unemployed B.Ed qualified youths. The qualified teacher trained students are left yet jobless even after multiple requests were done to the Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty. While explaining 10323 teachers' recruitment corruption and 12000 non-teaching posts creations, Tripura Govt issued the teacher crisis problem, but when B.Ed qualified students are waiting jobless, state govt has no concern to fill up the vacancies. Earlier, when the youths went to meet Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty, he insulted the students and said, "When exam will be held all will be informed. What is the problem here ?"
However, on Wednesday, the students met the Chief Minister Manik Sarkar in this regard. Now it's to be seen what step is taken by Manik Sarkar to diminish the teachers crisis and unemployment problems of the state.
When Tripura's unemployment rate has been recorded as the highest in the whole country, Tripura Education Minister recently told the students, 'Why unnecessarily you are making the delay of TET an issue ?'
However, after meeting the Education Minister, the job aspirants told media, "Earlier, when we met him, we were B.Ed ongoing students. As in case of NET Examination MA students are allowed to sit in NET, so we also demanded the B.Edundergoing students should be allowed to sit TET examinations. We held many protests for it. But on that time Tapan Chakraborty promised us that there will be soon a TET exam in coming August month of 2017. But now it's November and after 3 months, Minister Tapan Chakraborty has forgotten his promise".
This has vexed the students as already their result have been out and they do not have any job.
