AGARTALA, Oct 16 (TIWN): Crippled condition of Tripura's Higher Education has hit the Veterinary students of Tripura. During internship the students get only Rs. 1300, that is very minimum in comparison to the medical students who are receiving atleast Rs. 18,000. But most surprisingly, the last year’s passed out students have not received their registration numbers, whereas they have received their degree certificates. But without the registration the passed out students are unable to apply for any job inside and outside the state. On October 11, Tripura Veterinary Students had met the Chief Minister regarding delaying of their registration numbers.
Addressing the media the students said that they had got already their admit cards and Degree but the registration number yet to be received which has created mass tension among Veterinary passed out students.
CM Manik Sarkar however said that he would look after the matter, but till day they are undergoing tremendous tension which has generated mass resentment among the passed out students. The students also talked to Education Dept officials in this regard.
But due to Tripura Govt’s negligence the Veterinary passed out doctors’ future have remained bleak till day. Without registration number an uncertainty is hovering over the doctors’ futures which has tensed, resented the passed out unemployed veterinary unemployed youths.
