AGARTALA, Sep 16 (TIWN): Tripura to celebrate Viswakarma Puja on Sep 17 that falls on Sunday.
Markets were busy throughout Battala, Gol Bazar, Math Chowmuhani since Friday morning as only 2 days left for Viswakarma Puja.
Pandals also have been decorated across the city
With the sunny weather, the capital city has been geared up to arrange all necessary items for the puja.
Lord Viswakarma is believed as swayambhu and Creator of the world. He constructed the holy city of Dwarka, and was also the creator of many fabulous weapons for the gods.
At different parts of the state, devotees to celebrated Lord Vishwakarma Puja with pomp and deity on Friday.
Every year September 17 is marked as the annual puja of the Hindu deity, Vishwakarma.
However, due to leap year, this year the puja to be celebrated on August 16.
Mass gathering of devotees are followed in Puja pandals at many places of the state and devotees offer special prayers to their God.
