AGARTALA, Sep 15 (TIWN): NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) has recognized Tripura Holy Cross College with an A Grade College, that will be the 1st A Grade College in Tripura.
As per the press note, Peer Team of NNC had visited Holy Cross College, Agartala on 29thand 30th August 2017. The results were declared on 12th September 2017. Holy Cross College is graded as ‘A’ Grade College by NAAC. Holy Cross College is the first College in the state of Tripura to receive ‘A’ grade from NAAC.
It is not only the pride of the college but it is also the pride of our state to have an ‘A’ Graded English Medium College in Tripura.
The Principal, Administration, Management, members of faculty and students are thankful to the Govt. of Tripura, Tripura University, all other stakeholders and beneficiaries for achieving this milestone for the College.
It is a golden day for Holy Cross College which is only 8 years and 2 months old. It is significant to mention here that such a young institution got A grade mainly because of the team work of the management, teaching and non-teaching faculty, students, alumni and parents of Holy Cross College. Currently the College has a total number of 876 students in BA, BSc, BCom, BBA and B.Ed. programs and a faculty strength of 82 which includes 43 teaching and 39 non-teaching faculty. 6 batches totaling 508 studentshave so far graduated from the College. From July 2017, the College is offering Civil Services and IAS coaching to students of the college and youth of Tripura at the ALS-IAS Coaching Center at the Old Shishu Bihar Complex at Agartala.
