AGARTALA, Sep 11 (TIWN): Union Minister for State of YUSH Shripad Naik on Monday said, "In last 3 years there has been no issue regarding funds at all, as Tripura Govt is claiming. Rather in comparing with UPA Govt we invested Rs. 7000 cr more for Tripura".
"After Modi Govt came at centre Tripura got 7000 crores extra for various developmental works. So such allegations are incorrect", said Naik.
"There has been always an equal distribution of funds with all states. In no way they can claim Centre has deprived", said Naik.
Boosting about the BJP led Central Govt's special initiative to develop Northeast, Naik said, "It has been ordered by PM Modi to recover Northeast from all kinds of backwardness, laggings. In coming days also priority will be given to Northeast that was deprived till it develops 100 %".
